The 5 frame bee hive was made of premium solid cedar wood. It’s more solid and durable than other materials. The wooden frames of the 5 frame bee hive were made of pine wood. The foundation sheets of the beehive frame were made of food-grade plastic and it was beeswaxed, which also makes foundation sheets more acceptable to bees.
